How does EFT work?
EFT is considered to be a form of “emotional acupuncture” without the needles.
It is thought that by talking about an issue in a specific way, whilst tapping on acupuncture points on the face and upper body (fully clothed), imbalances in the body’s energy system are resolved, and this promotes healing and wellbeing.
The exact mechanism of how EFT works isn’t understood yet. However, various scientific studies have shown that there are definite, and positive, neurological changes that occur in the brain after EFT treatment.
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on the complexity of the issue. It is important to bear in mind that while some problems, or parts of a problem, will clear very quickly there may be deeper aspects that will require time and patience to resolve.
EFT is a simple and very effective way of supporting yourself to manage everyday issues. It’s very easy to learn and everyone can benefit.
